Gideon Rubin – CEO


As CEO of Simply Ideas LLC, Gideon Rubin provides the strategic vision, manages the financial needs of the company, as well as oversees the company's marketing optimization and analytical research for its clients. Mr. Rubin has been working in the interactive marketing and strategy space for over 10 years in Education, Financial, High-Tech, and Startup Industries. Mr. Rubin was most recently one of the first employees and the Executive Director of Marketing, Finance & Analytics for a Washington Post Company (NYSE: WPO); one of the fastest growing marketing and lead generation businesses in the Education Industry. He was responsible for managing a $15 million marketing budget on Search, TV, the Internet and other media. He currently also serves as the Vice President of Research & Analytics for Diversified Entertainment, strategic advisor for several Internet companies and Angel investors, and is an advisor for Venture Fund Management a venture capital firm in Palm Beach, Florida. He was formerly the strategy advisor to the Working Waterfront Association, and the acting director of the National Harbor Safety Committee InfoCenter web portal (a joint venture with the US Coast Guard)

In the past, Mr. Rubin served as Head of Global Marketing for a financial conference company, Opal Financial Group. During his time with Opal, Mr. Rubin successfully initiated and negotiated partnership contracts with more than 35 financial media and publishing organizations and managed relationships with more than 150 other financial organizations worldwide. Formerly, Mr. Rubin worked for JobGravity.com, Inc., a startup, developing a proprietary HR and employment law web based decision support system, as the Vice President of Business Development and Internet Strategy.

Mr. Rubin graduated Cum Laude from Brandeis University with a B.A. in History and a certificate in Legal Studies, and has also studied advertising and marketing effectiveness at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. After receiving his B.A., Mr. Rubin worked for Young & Rubicam Advertising (LSE: WPP) in their New York flagship office. He was responsible for the print, TV, radio, online, and outdoor coordination of the newly acquired Citibank's North American Consumer Bank and Citibank's North American Investments accounts (NYSE: C). His account group was awarded a Silver Effie, for advertising effectiveness. For Roche Pharmaceuticals (OTC: RHHBY), he helped launch the campaign for the new drug, TamiFlu. Mr. Rubin received his MBA from the University of Miami with concentrations in Finance and Management Science (a form of applied statistics).


Leif Nissen – Director of Business Marketing

As the Director of Business Marketing for Simply Ideas, Leif Nissen addresses the strategic and technical needs for content generation, search engine marketing, and business development. Leif has been working in the website building and marketing arena for over 10 years in various industries including video, automotive, mortgage, real estate, and many more. His specialties include search engine optimization, web 2.0 marketing, link building, affiliate marketing and content generation.

After graduating from Indiana University in 2003, Leif embarked on the beginning of what has been a successful career in website building, marketing, and monetization. His research, innovation and implementation of cutting-edge technologies and ideas has been a strong key to his success.

Leif has created and marketed many successful and profitable websites, such as scriptz.com, selling it to developershed.com in 2004. His work in online marketing over the last 8 years includes 5 years as a private consultant developing website communities, and search engine experience that includes work with Google, Yahoo and Microsoft.

Most recently, Leif has ventured into video search engine optimization- an area that has shown tremendous growth over the last few years. On video sites such as YouTube, Leif has had his videos featured in the "most discussed" and "most active" sections of the site, with some receiving over 500,000 page views.
